Echo by Opal Interactive

Real places, captured in 3D, open in any browser.

Echo by Opal Interactive turns venues, events and moments into photorealistic immersive experiences built with Gaussian splatting: scenes with ambient sound and their own story, one link away on desktop, phone or VR headset.

Why Echo

Captured, not modeled

Gaussian splatting reconstructs the real space from real footage, so it looks like the place, not a stylized approximation of it.

Runs on what people already have

Any browser, any phone, or a headset like Quest 3, Galaxy XR or Apple Vision Pro. Nothing to install, nothing to set up.

Grab the world, not a joystick

The same intuitive gesture everywhere: drag or pinch to move through the space. No teleport, no tutorial.

Use cases

Venues and real estate

Let someone walk a space before they book it or buy it, from anywhere in the world.

Events and moments

Preserve a launch, a show or an experience as something people can step back into, not just photograph.

Museums and heritage

Make a physical exhibit or site reachable by anyone with a browser, ambient audio and story included.

Hospitality and tourism

Show guests the actual space before they book: the room, the fireside lounge, the view as it really is.

How it works

01

Capture

We record the space on site with a photo and video walkthrough, planned around when the place looks its best.

02

Reconstruction

The capture is processed into a Gaussian splat scene and tuned to stream fast on the web, with ambient sound and an info card that tells its story.

03

Delivery

You get a link ready to share or embed: the same scene works on desktop, mobile and VR headsets, with no app to install.

See it live

The best way to understand Echo is to step inside a captured scene.

Frequently asked questions

What is Gaussian splatting?

A technique that reconstructs a real scene from photos and video as millions of tiny points of color, preserving the light and detail of the actual place. The result looks like the place because it is built from the place, and it runs in a normal web browser.

What do you need from us to capture a space?

Access to the space for an on-site capture session. We handle the recording and the processing, and you review the experience before anything is published.

Where can people view an Echo experience?

In any modern browser on desktop or mobile, and in VR headsets like Quest 3, Galaxy XR and Apple Vision Pro through the same link. There is no app to download.

Can it live on our own site?

Yes. An experience can run on your domain, be embedded into your site, or run from a link we host for you.

Have a place worth keeping?

Tell us about the venue, the event or the moment you want people to walk through, and we will show you what a first capture looks like.
